180 degrees
I started working with triangles in spring 2024. I am drawn to the clear and crips lines of geometric shapes and to the possibilities offered when you play with colour and patterns. The triangles happened and I quickly took to composing abstract pieces with them. The rhythmic interplay of triangles creates a sense of movement and lightness. I deconstruct to reconstruct, one piece of paper at a time. The composition comes together intuitively and a fair amount of time is spent fine-tuning the finishing touches. I’ve named this series 180 as the angle sum of a triangle will always be equal to 180 degrees.
